New Lothrop High School’s Teacher Cadet program offers an amazing opportunity for our students interested in future careers in education to gain invaluable, first hand experience. Through this program, aspiring educators get to shadow and assist experienced New Lothrop teachers. The Teacher Cadet Program is providing a hands-on, realistic view of the teaching profession. Our students are gaining practical experience, observing child development, and this early exposure is helping them confirm their career interest before entering college and teacher prep programs. Teacher cadets are provided with tailored placements to best meet their needs and interests and the needs of our staff. New Lothrop teacher cadets are gaining a significant advantage before entering college, they’re learning from the best mentors in New Lothrop!
